UCS
In 1935, the Ultraflex Control Group was founded in Italy. The manufacturing company first focused on producing metal hoses, but in the following years it soon expanded to include many other innovative products for e.g. marine, buildings and industries. One of these innovative products was a special cable that could be used for both push and pull forces. Initially, this cable was developed for use in steering systems for motorboats. Later, in the 1970s, this special cable was also made suitable for remote operation of hard-to-reach windows. This application became such a success that a separate company was added to the Ultraflex Control Group: UCS
Since then, the range of products for the window industry has expanded enormously with chain actuators, linear actuators and control units. In recent years, they have focused mainly on integrating their window drives with building management systems.
