Chain actuators are, due to their compact dimensions, very suitable for installation in places where there is little space or where an actuator needs to be as unobtrusive as possible (e.g. for aesthetic reasons).
There are many versions available for both surface mount and flush mounting situations. They can be applied to windows, sashes and other elements for daily ventilation and (depending on brand & type) also in N-SHEV systems.
