The Congo Greenhouse is part of the Royal Greenhouses in Laken (Brussels, Belgium). Built in the 19th century by King Leopold II to house subtropical plants and trees that he brought from all over the world. During the very thorough restoration, it was decided to regulate the climate in the conservatory automatically from now on instead of manually for over 140 years.
Dekker Technical Products supplied the actuators for operating the windows, of course in the right color so that they stand out as little as possible between the cast iron construction of the conservatory.
