Slit actuators
Slit actuators are a variation on the linear spindle actuators. In contrast to a linear spindle actuator, a slit is milled in the housing, along which a drive pin or carrier moves. With these actuators it is possible to automate inwards and outwards opening elements without the disadvantage of a long spindle actuator.
Most slit actuators are particularly well suited for use on large rotary wings and bottom hung wings for ventilation and SHEV applications.
