Active infrared reflection safety sensor, or motion sensor, for detecting movement in the proximity of automated windows. When linked to a safety control unit (e.g. EPS-24 or EP-230) you can create a contact-free entrapment protection system on automated windows.
The width of the detection area is adjustable with the suppliedkey supplied. (The exact size of the detection area depends on the mounting height, the ambient light and colors of e.g. floor/wall)
The following other parameters can be set with the DIP switches:
- Sensitivity
- Depth of the detection area
- Presence detection timer
- Frequency
The housing is made of black plastic and equipped with LED indication for sensor status indication.
Comes complete with 3 meters of cable, mounting screws and drilling template.
Attention:
Safety sensor VS-01 is not suitable for locations with a lot of smoke, reflective surfaces (floors/walls) or heating in the detection area.
